Class IX parents meet CBSE chairperson, MP
THE parents of Class IX students of Ryan International School, Sector 49, Chandigarh, met Pawan Kumar Bansal, Union Minister of State Finance, in Delhi, regarding the fate of their children. They also met the CBSE chairperson, Vineet Joshi.
The parents had gone to Delhi to discuss the course of action for the Class IX students, who have their annual exams from March 1.
During the hearing of Rayan case, the board had stated that Class IX students will not be eligible to take admission in Class X, as they havent passed their Class IX exams from a recognised school.

Ryan case CBSE secretary assures welfare of students
Parents of Class X students of Ryan International School, Sector 49, met the secretary of CBSE Vineet Joshi in Delhi, today.
Rakesh Verma, one of the parents, while talking to Newsline said, We had been called by the chairman of CBSE, Ashok Ganguly, but he didnt meet us. Instead, we met Vineet Joshi. He assured us that the welfare of students would be given priority.

Harried parents of Class X students of Ryan International, Sector 49, Chandigarh, drew some solace from the meeting they had with the officials of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in New Delhi today. Though they intended to meet the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) chairperson Ashok Ganguly about the affiliation issue, which, the school has failed to get till date, they could not do so.

ISM swimmers excel in zonal meet
Six gold medals for Aafaq Bhatri and five gold medals for Amit Thakur were the strong points of the success story of Indian School Muscats (ISM) participation in the CBSE Gulf Zonal Swimming Meet hosted by the Abu Dhabi Indian School recently.
