Parents, students protest non-affiliation of Ryan International

Arunachal teachers on protest path
The Arunachal Teachers Association has threatened to launch a phase-wise agitation from January 15 to press for various demands, including an immediate check on illegal recruitments.
Mido Kamaki, president of the association said they were being forced to take the decision after the 15-day ultimatum served on the state government for fulfilling their demands, yielded no results.
The 15-day deadline expired on December 22.

SIO opposes sex education in schools
The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) today said it would organise statewide demonstrations and rallies to protest the Centres move to introduce sex education programme in all CBSE and state-run schools from Class VI to X.
The SIO will resist the programmes introduction in the state, SIOs state convener Umar Farook told reporters.
Such a move will harm young minds, he said.

Mangalore SIO rally against sex education in schools
The Mangalore unit of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) will conduct a protest rally from NGO Hall (clock tower) to DCs office on March 21 against the new diktat of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to introduce sex and adolescent education from standard 6 to 12.
According to a press release, the SIO has alleged that though the decision was taken on the pretext of preventing AIDS, vested interests are trying to dirty the minds of innocent children.
