India International School, Mangaf host the 9th CBSE Inter-School tournament basketball for girls. The games were played over four days from April 21 at 24 Indian Nine schools attended the event. ALUVA: A state-level football tournament for CBSE schools is being organised for the third time by Crescent Public School, Thottumugham, near here. As many as 74 CBSE schools had participated in the tournament last year.
The tournament will be conducted at four venues - Aluva Municipal Recreation Grounds, Cusat at Kalamassery, Al-Ameen, Edathala, and Crescent School grounds, Thottumugham.

Ganguly, who was here to inaugurate the 10th National Basketball Tournament of CBSE affiliated schools, said Monday the changes would help keep pace with the process of globalisation. He said internal assessment and work in the laboratories would be taken into account in the final evaluation of students. This apart, 40 marks would be awarded for practical exams against the present 20.
