CBSE declares pre-medical results

CBSE declared the results of the All IndiaPre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2008 on Saturday. According to CBSE, 22,014 candidates cleared the exam out of 1,61,230, who had appeared for it.

The examination was conducted in two stages and the final was held on May 5 this year.

Based on the marks scored by the candidates in the final examination, 1776 candidates, out of which 1389 are general, 268 SC and 119 ST, have been placed on the merit list and 1642 candidates are on the wait list.

The first round of counselling would begin from June 13 for which the successful candidates will have to appear personally or through video conferencing at CBSE centres in New Delhi, Kolkata and Puducherry.

However, the students, who did not give any option of counselling venue, will have to appear at the New Delhi centre only.

CBSE declares results of Medical Entrance Exam

The results of the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination (AIPMT), 2007 conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) were declared today. City girl bags 34th position in CBSE medical entrance

Jaspriya Sandhu, a student of DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar, has bagged the 34th slot in the All-India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. The results of the entrance test were declared today. Expressing her surprise at the result, Jaspriya said, Though I had worked hard, the rank is unexpected. I have stood 65th in the medical test conducted by Manipal University. I have also cleared the first round of AFMC, Pune. Panjab University today declared the result of CET-2006, conducted by it on June 12 for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BA L.LB (Hons), B.Pharma and B.Sc (Honours school). CBSE declares +2 results

The Central Board of Secondary Examination declared the results of the plus-two final examinations today. Altogether 13,475 students of the region passed the examinations. K.K. Choudhury, regional officer of the Board, said altogether 22,156 students from the 562 affiliated schools in the region had appeared in the examinations. He said this years pass percentage, 60.81, showed a marginal increase from last year. While 63.7 per cent girls passed, only 58.67 per cent boys could make it through, he said.
